We’re moving! Starting on October 03, 2021, our sister sites, addi Needle Shop and Colorsong Yarn will be joining together under one roof – www.twitchyhands.com. You’ll find all of our high-quality addi tools, our luxurious hand-dyed yarns, plus our top-notch service – all in one place!
A brief history – our founders, Bob and Nancy, started Colorsong Yarn back in the early 2000s when their great friend, Cat Bordhi, came to visit with two duffle bags full of Fleece Artist yarn; it was an instant love affair with high-quality fibers and hand-dyed beauty. Two years later, Cat introduced them to the addi line of knitting and crochet tools, and they knew it was the perfect pairing for their luxury yarn. Thus addi Needle Shop came to be. For our long-time customers that remember that far back, it was Bob and Nancy’s Services that ran the sister websites.
A few years after that, I came along. What started as a temporary job doing data entry turned into a permanent position when Bob and Nancy learned of my knitting, crocheting, and designing background. I was a perfect fit for the company! Fast-forward to 2014 – Bob and Nancy retired to Mexico, and I took over the business under my designing moniker – Twitchy Hands.
We’ve been Twitchy Hands Creative, Inc. ever since, operating Colorsong Yarn and the addi Needle Shop with as much care and attention as always. But change must come! With the evolving landscape of online shopping, plus some big plans for future products, it’s time for us to put all of our offerings under one roof, so to speak. So we hope you’ll join us for the next chapter!
We anticipate a seamless move, so all orders placed before the move and after will ship as usual. All outstanding backorders will remain in our system and will ship as soon as the stock is available.
